shock length
Does anyone know if the shocks made for a four inch lift have enough play to not bottom out on a six inch lifted truck? I just bought these new shocks, and i dont want to go through the hassle of buying more if these are brand new.

it all depends on what shocks they are. . . .the only way to know for sure is to max them out (stretch them as far as theyll go) take a measurement from eye to eye. jack the whole front end of the truck up until the tires come off the ground MUST BE JACKED BY THE FRAME, letting the axle "dangle" by the springs. take measurement eye to eye, add 2 inches, theres your answer.
