Bought this thing when I was 18, daily drove it like this for a while.
Broke a bunch of parts on it, and it ended up sitting behind the shop for a bit. Started to rebuild it into more of a wheeler, got cancer, and once again it ended up sitting for a while. Went something like this
Once I had my strength back after chemo, I ended up putting one my Toyota's back together, since it was the closest to being done, and this truck was left, still sitting.
The 'yota
Got a wild hair, and gathered up some bigger parts for the Ford, this is where the build starts to get interesting
When I first saw the rockwell sitting on the table I said "f-ing great, another 73-79 on rocks and an assinine amount of lift build" but as I scrolled down Im really impressed.
Thanks! It has definitely been a challange keeping it low on rocks. In the end it will be lower on rockwells and 46's, than it was on normal axles and 42's, and still have 8 inches of up-travel.
This is the clearance around the front chunk at full bump. I'm going to have to run a two piece front driveshaft to clear the engine block.
This truck is fawesome, great work mang. I think this is the direction Bronco v3.0 will go, if I ever actually start wheeling it and find the limitation of my current setup. Of course, that requires money.
I think it's just the angles of the random tubes playing with your eyes. Added a couple more pieces of tube at the back, and tossed the lower coils in it. This is an inch or two lower than ride height will end up being.

Thanks for the replies guys. Haven't got much done on this, my pile of Toyota and a new job is sucking up a lot of my time. Since big tires destroy the world, I recentered some old wheels off a trailer that got scrapped a while ago. These should work well for driving to church on Sunday, and other daily driving duties
