Overdrive vibration
Hi all, I have a 2000 EB expy with the 5.4L V8. I have been noticing a strong vibration when I accelerate in overdrive. It happens just a little while before it downshifts. Does anybody have any idea what is wrong? The truck will be out of warranty in 600 miles, so I would like to have this taken care of. Thanks

Hi mistercmk and welcome to FTE 
Your problem sounds like a classic case of torque convertor shudder. Usually changing the transmission oil and filter will take care of it. If you click the "search" button near the top of the page you will probably be able to find more posts on this.
