Moving My Ignition Control Module

Before I go any further, my truck is a 1986 F-150 302 EFI V8 with the TFI-IV distributor mounted ICM module.

I’ve been let down too many times by my ignition control module. I had enough, and I’m going to do what Ford should have done in the first place---move it to a cooler area. (See: Ford TFI Module National Class Settlement | The Center for Autosafety) Basically, heat causes it to fail, and at 257 degrees F it goes kaput. So, my plan is to move it out and over the power steering area and attach it to some sort of heat sink.

Any thoughts, tips or advice before I get started?

I believe there is a thread about someone attaching a heatsink to one just as you describe, I'll search for it and post the link when I get some homework done here shortly.
