i dont own a king ranch but i detail cars on the side...i would be very careful using anything other than what they recommend...i have used Lexol before and if thats what they recommend then use it..it works well even though i use a different product for leather now...those seat covers are way too expensive to ruin

My wife drives a 2002 KR, and has used the Lexol,Meguiars Gold Class Rich Leather, and ordered some stuff from King Ranch.
However, on you tube, there is a product called "**********", that interests me. It's $20.00/8 ounces. There is a demonstration on You Tube for the product.
Just an ooption for you to explore.

For what it's worth, I had an 05 f250 kr and used leather CPR with great results. The thing that matters most is the type of leather you have. Mine was an aniline dyed leather which had no protective(urethane i think) top layer like a comparable lariat did. Ford changed the leather type/process when they released the 08s. I searched multiple forums to get good suggestions then picked a few and tried them in some hidden areas. Good luck.

Here is a link from a detailer in Tampa Florida...his name is Gary Dean and he details cars for a living. You can look up his videos on YouTube under Premium Custom Detailing. He uses his own formula called Dress To Impress.
Dress to Impress (rubber, vinyl, plastic, and leather dressing) 22oz - Premium Custom Detailing
That is the link to his store where he sells all sorts of detailing products. I am not affiliated with him in any way...I am just a fan of his work as I like to do detailing for my own cars. Take a look at some of his videos always a good watch!
Edit: Here is Gary cleaning leather.

I use the KR leather cleaner protectant. I think they sell it for about 9 bucks on their site. It works well, and it smells like you have leather after you put it on. I just put it on the solid panel of the seat and wipe it on with a soft cloth and lightly buff it with a dry cloth. Just don't squirt it on the perforated part of the seat. I put it on the solid panel first and wipe over the perforated part.
