After market air rilter, you,all gonna dust your turbo, eventually....
I was thinking when I researched it, everybody's recommendation was to keep the factory air box, but to add a performance filter. But I was wrong, mine is an Air Raid, not AFE. But how do you replace the factory filter anyways? When I changed mine out it had to be cut out. It was made into the box.
Since you've started or taken care of the MAP sensor problem now it's time to start on the MAF sensor wiring problem, which can be causing crappy fuel mileage too and MAY be the problem for the MAP sensor problem because of incorrect fuel mixture.

What steps would you recommend taking first? I've looked for wire chafing throught the harness and couldn't really find anything. Theres one spot where a bunch of wires come together right on top of a plug behind the top fuel filter and it looks like a spot where some horrible chafing would be but there was none that I could tell. But unless I start getting in there and removing stuff I couldn't really get a really good look. But would you think the MAF sensor could be bad? It was awfully dusty when I took it out. I'll try and get some pictures later.
The MAP sensor didn't cure the issue. It's now totally clean and unclogged and still doing the same thing. I unplugged my EGR valve and haven't had any issues...SO FAR. Does this mean I may need to clean my EGR valve out (even though I have an EGR delete)?
