There's a slew of information here if you have time to search and hunt. Late 06 thru 08s seem not to have the cam phaser issues that the 04 to early 06s had. Also, 07 and later have less chance of breaking off all the plugs on a change due to a head redesign.
Rear ends in the early years seemed to have some issues with excessive wear and noise. All of the limited slip diffs can chatter if not maintained well.
I could go on, but that's a good starting point.
Happy hunting.
Adjust the model year to 2008, built after 10/07, for the change in plug design. 07 5.4's are just as likely to break plugs as earlier 3V 5.4's. I broke 3 on my 07 when I changed them a few years ago.
But don't let the plug issue scare you away from a good 04-07 5.4. It's a managable job to change the plugs as long as you have the Lisle tool.

If you get one with the 2 piece plug issue, IMO the earlier they're changed out the better. Had mine done (07) at 42K, all came out intact. My mechanic followed the TSB, I've been using a good grade of gas so didn't look like much carbon on the old plugs and all came out without a single one breaking.
