Dana 44 HD has external locking hubs like the ones in the picture. That is if they haven't been changed to aftermarket like Warn or Mile Marker. Look for a tag under one of the cover bolts or the BOM number stamped into the top of the axle tube.
Actually, its got 2 blocks in back, bottom looks like an anvil kinda...
The anvil lookin block is ONE of the factors that make a highboy a highboy, the 4in lift. It is factor. The second is probably a 2in block for a total of 6in lift. The front should have 6in lift springs.
Here is a pic of this setup on my 77 highboy
My guess someone put a 2in lift block on top of the highboy block and installed 6in lift springs on the front for a cheap "6in lift".
