hissing sound
2005 f250 psd sct gearhead tunes with bd diesel boost builder..... hissing sound, no exhaust fumes smell, turbo lag (never had turbo lag after sct and bd diesel), checked all tubes for leaks, boost still goes up to 30psi...will sticking vanes cause a hissing sound too or do i have a leak that i cant find?...and this started after i floored it about a month ago

If you're not smelling exhaust it sounds like you have an air leak on the cold side. Check the bottom of the blue elbow boot where it comes from the turbo (look for oil spray) and check your intercooler connections. A smoke test may be indicated here.

tried that already i had sumeone inside the truck put the truck in drive and bring up the boost and felt aound every boot and around the baack of the turbo at the y pipe and nothing no leaks....and the hissing sound can only be heard above 15 psi
