It's the shaft from the 250 is it possable it's just the u joint but when I pry on it there is no movement nor is it lose ??
Sound like it is at too hard of an angle and binding, that is why I recommend the cardian F350 shaft when doing the F350 axle. Ford didnt spend the extra money on that shaft for the hell of it
All excellent info. Mods- This would be an excellent thread to make a "sticky" with a little bit of cleanup. Just by reading it answered 90% of the questions I had in the back of my mind. Great writeup Diesel_Brad.
For those who are having shake/wobble problems, as others have mentioned, you more than likely have a caster problem. It's not a tire wearing angle so you will not notice anything by looking, however caster is extremely important for steering return and straight line tracking. Too little caster results in the "wobbly shopping cart wheel" syndrome and poor self-centering after turns. Too much caster results in heavy steering and an unwillingness to turn.

I ran into a similar situation when I did my D60 conversion. My issue was that my '90 F250 used the 1345 T-case so I couldn't swap the front output yokes, they were 2 completely different sizes and the next issue was that the 1356 I got w/ the D60 was from a '92 so it didn't have the mechanical speedo drive provision in the rear output. I ended up getting the stock F250 front driveshaft cut down about 1.5". Since my ride height is stock, I haven't had any issues w/ the front drive shaft binding.
