Will an injector do this?

I recently did the EGR and oil coolers. Ex worked beautifully all winter right up til the first of April when I took it on a 600 mile round trip. I got an intermittent #4 injector code which I clear and which comes back periodically.(twice in the last month) Now I notice that it gets hotter than it used to running at 70mph it will get up to 200+ whereas before 192 was tops and oil temps are also higher than I am comfortable with although not yet at 15 deg spread. It also doesn't seem to cool down when I let it idle before shutdown. I always used to go to 350-375 quite quickly. Now it likes to hover above 400 quite a while before dropping. My question is, Can an injector cause this issue, by injecting more fuel than the computer is calling for, or do I have a cooling problem? I see no evidence of puking and coolant level seems to be constant.

they will run hotter as the summer comes along. i used to run no hotter than 185-192 during the winter. summer temps came around in texas where im at and i see 190-208 now. try runnin the truck on a lower power level on your edge and see if the code comes back. just read something about a guy turned his programmer down and the codes went away on his truck. temps i wouldnt worry about but the injector code is weird
