Remote Start

On a 2010 XLT F150 supercrew, how hard would it be to add a remote start to it. i would like a factory type system, especially i can operated my keyless entry. How much am I looking at? and does the truck stay running when you open the door.

Dealer installed:$280-300. When they install it, tell them you want the truck to run when you open the door. Otherwise, due to the MyKey, when you open the door it shuts off.

just incase...

I got a 2010 with auto start that would shut down when i opened the door.

dealer installed remote

ask the dealer, tell them what a pain it is. The service guys understood for me and for a couple bucks, they programmed it to shut off only with the brake.
