79's have square headlights this is for sure but who cares my truck has a 73 cab, 78 body, 79 grill, 67 motor. Because it has square headlights doesn't mean anything about the drivetrain whether it's divorced or married case. Get the angle..
My new cv alone cost me about $300. A superduty shaft can be bought for maybe $50-150. I just realized his truck is a 79 so it will have a married t case and have a longer rear shaft. The angle shouldn't be all that bad. Put an angle finder on the shaft and tell me what it runs at. Use a finder with the needle that floats vertical on a protractor that's the first step to us helping you and maybe take a pic. Its hard to go off nothing
O and the superduty shaft might be too short because your rear driveshaft is pretty long. The cv can be cut out and put in a longer shaft and 1410 yoke used as well.
Your probably looking at 3-400$ at a driveshaft shop and parts
would a superduty CV work on a highboy? they have smaller shafts andujoints right?
