amsoil gas additive

What is everybodys view on using this stuff they say 2-5 % improvement which on a 7.5 mpg isn;t all that much & u need 2 bottles which is abt $20

Another snake oil? What are you driving to get that MPG?
Better invest in good maintenance.

Those snake oil products never do.
No matter how loudly or passionately their users make claims, the data doesn't match the claims.

Your probably better off using some Chevron with Techron fuel injector cleaner every one in a while. I have had very good results with the way Marine Stabil cleans fuel systems. I put some in my truck every so often. Overall I am not a big fan of additives.
