I vote 2.5 to make the truck exactly level - in my case I used the Daystar 2.5 and it was great!

It's really just your preferrence! There are several options now. Alot of people like the Autospring and Daystar. As long as you get the 2 or 2.5 you will be happy. The look alone is well worth it!

Yeah It looks awsome but im doing it for functionality, that extra couple of inches is worth alot to me. we were hunting in my dads xlt, and struck the front a few times...so I don't want that....it was on pretty low stuff that my 92 just went right over.

Thumbs up I like it mo betta

Aloha all, I just installed the Autospring 2" in my 04 scab Lariat. They are a very well made all steel unit. In my opinion the 2" is perfect and I didn" want any plastic spacers in that heavy compression position. Word of caution::: If you dont have all the tools and expertise, have someone that does do it for you!!! I bought the parts direct from Autospring and quized them on the alignment after installation. Answer was, no alignment needed only toe in needs to be set. This turned out to be true and my toe in was way off. After I set it everything seems to be fine. The spacers raised the front bumper 3 1/4". Looks much better and rides the same with a little more clearance. $129.99 delivered in 5 days to Hawaii. I like it!!! Thats all folks. Larry in Kona

it might be due to the different wheelwell arches (front & back), but from all the pics I keep seeing on the forums, the 2.5" lifts almost look like the truck is doing a slight wheelie. The 2" lift looks perfect! I don't have any lift myself...

I just installed an autospring 2" kit. The installation was quick and easy and the ride is unchanged except that there is no more bottom-feeding. I think autospring is a little pessimistic about their lift heights. The 1 5/8" spacer that they say lifts 2" actually gave me almost 3" after adjusting the toe in. If you choose the 2.5 you'll probably want to lift the rear as well. Good luck.

I agree with wetdog . I installed 2" autospring with same results. The back sits 1/4" higher. Performance has not changed and looks soooo much better. Installation is easy if you have the tools and a helper. Don"t forget the alignment. Good luck.

I never had a problem with my Daystar 2.5 from install to uninstall for Suspension lift. We measured my truck in several positions and it was exactly level.

I also installed an autospring 2" last week and was glad I went with the 2" as my truck now has a 1/4" rake towards the front.

If your gonna do it yourself, make sure to have another set of arms handy. It's somewhat of a tricky chore to do solo.

Sorry for digging up an old thread but I thought this would be a good place to ask this question. I'm looking at installing a 2" Autospring level kit on my 2004 F-150 4x4 Screw Lariat, but at work I have to park in a 6'8" clearance parking garage, and it barely fits as is. How much total height was changed on the truck after the 2" level kit was installed and toe aligned? Thanks.
