mine does it too, I have a new clutch, tranny mount, and the whole kit-n-kaboodle. I found that when I let the clutch out all of the way, it works much better than slowly letting it out.
I think it has something to do with the low range of reverse (mine does it in first >sometimes< which is also a low range granny gear.)
If you have the T18 (granny-1st-gear) you also have a granny reverse, and giving it "too much"
gas can cause behavior like that. With those gears, you could just let the clutch up without
touching the gas pedal and you'll likely be fine; give it more gas afterwards.
So I stick it in reverse, let the clutch off and it starts hopping all over the place. Is it my clutch disc?
Could be axle wrap causing the bouncing. My 84 F250 does that in granny gear and reverse if I drop the clutch fast. Going to get better springs when I get it back together.

I replaced my spring bushings and cured it in mine.

BTW-where did you get tranny mounts?
Rear spring bushings cured it?
Never would have thought about that one but sure worth a try. Going to be doing all the suspension bushings, and maybe the springs to. They're probably 27 years old.
