well went into engine and rechecked everything on here and re torqued bolts wen i have the upper intake gaskets again ill let you know how is this thanks for help

 

When you tore it down again, did you happen to notice if the rocker arm's felt "loose" before loosening them any? Was there any "side to side" or sloppy feeling? You may want to go with 20lbs on your torque wrench, but be sure to coat the pushrods and lifter's in plenty of motor oil.

Let us know what you find out.

 

it has been awhile.... but got truck back together cant say i know what caused the tap but marvel mystery oil cleared it up pluss thicker oil...... stil have a boucy oil pressure but i believe that to be worn main bearings thank you guys for all the help

 

Don't rule out a sloppy lifter bore.

 

ill go till it blows.... currently got a 351w all aluminum block goin with gt40 heads hopefully done in about a year
