egr tube leaks

i cannot get my egr tube to seal up. if your familiar with the efi 300s, you'll probably know what im referring to; its leaking where the tube meets the back of the rear exhaust manifold. it threads in with these big nuts. i had this and the manis replaced at a shop and the truck has been back 3 times for leaks. i seafoamed the truck today, and im almost positive that its leaking from where i mentioned. (i saw smoke coming out from there). im gonna bring this thing back again, but any tips on getting this part to seal? the egr tube is brand new, and its leaking just as bad as the old one.

Did they put a new exhaust manifold on for you? If a new manifold was put on maybe it is defective.

The EGR tube fitting is threaded into the manifold on my 5.8L V8 if I am not mistaken. When I installed replacement manifolds from Dorman they came with an assortment of fittings. Perhaps yours did not come with new hardware? I understand yours is an inline 6, but I would assume it has the same type hardware.
