fuse #17

i have a 1995 f150 5L auto..earlier today i hit the gas to avoid being creamed my an older gent wich resulted ( mabe by coincedence ) in all my gages quiting . i checked the fuses and shure enough #17 GAGES + 5 or 6 other systems was blown but it keeps blowing and i dont now why what would have failed from stomping on the gas or is that just coincedence like i said any ideas???? thanks for your help..

re fuse#17

turns out it was my o/d sutoff button was causing the short ...
