Pump Seal.....I think... Please help

I will try to keep this short as possible. I have searched and read alot but need to confirm some things. I recently boght a 2000 v10 2wd Ex with 91k miles. I also bought a 32' travel trailer that weighs around 8000k lbs. I towed the camper over an 1hr with some big hills and never had issues. My scan gauge never read above 180. And that was only for a few min. After I got home and backed up my driveway which is was kind of steep, I noticed tranny fluid leaking around the rubber plug. It was enough to create a small trail up the drive. I stopped and put it in park and it cooled down nice and quickly to 145.

From what I have read the pump seal has leaked and should be replaced. I also should upgrade to the 6.0 cooler.
My questions are
If I do replace the seal and install the new tranny cooler will this happen again?
What are the best parts to replace the oem parts?
Where can I find the best prices on the parts and the cooler?
What would a shop charge me to replace the seal and supply and install the cooler?

Please help me fast, this is my primary tow vehicle and we have a full summer booked with camping trips. 3rd one in only 2 weeks.

update,
Today I cleaned the tranny fluid residue off the exhaust and pan and drove it around until I hit around 165 deg. checked for leaks and found none, Tranny level and color looks good too. I know it never got above 200 degrees, even when backing up,
so will I be ok if I just get a bigger better cooler?

I am looking for the best cooler I can fit.
What is the recomandations and where to find them?

Will the stock trans be ok to pull the 8000 lb camper about 12 times a year?
Most trips ar under 1 1/2 hrs away and very minor hills. The longest may be 2 - 2 1/2 hrs away and some minor hills. Mostly all highway.

The local trans shop which is not a chain, quoated me around $700 for the pumpseal and coverter bushing. The said if I need a new converter they start at $350.

What is the best converter for a stock v10 with 4:30 gears?

If it needs the converter should I just rebuild the whole trans while its down?

I need opinions.....Thanks
