I can't seem to figure out a problem that just started with my right blinker on my 2006 F250 6.0. When I turn the blinker on all the way it does a rapid flash and the bulb in the front does not light up but the one in the rear lights and rapid flashes.
I replaced the right front bulb and it did not fix the problem. (the old bulb looked good)
I swithched the relays (right with left) in the fuze box under the hood and nothing changed.
I checked all the turn signal fuzes and all seemed to be fine.
Can anyone advise me as to what to try. Thanks in advance.
The right front bulb flashes when I turn on the EM Flashers so I know the connector to the bulb is good. This does not sound good if there is a problem hidden somewhere in the wiring. Thanks for the help anyway.
Try your right turn signal WITH and WITHOUT your parking lights on.
There is a "front side marker" light that also blinks,
but opposite to the "front turn signal".
It could be the problem with the turn signal is the side marker bulb.
With the 4-way (emergency) it's not effected by a missing bulb.
Also check your side marker with the 4-ways going.
I finally checked that side bulb... it is good.
The right mirror has a blinker within it as well and that is currently broken... Would that cause the rapid blink? I can't exactly remember but I think the mirror was broke before this became a problem.
I am afraid this might be one of those mysterirous electrical problems never to be solved.
