kmart bought sears.
also craftsman tools are made in the same building for the last 75 years.forging is done north of the plant about 100 yards then shipped over to the finishing side of the plant. other places do use the lowest bid system. craftsman handtools are all made in the same place. however there electric tools are made by Ryobi and the Robert Bosch corporation.
