I finally got around to installing the lift blocks for my rear end. I bought the "Tuff Country" 4" blocks that Spinella sent me the link for.
Job was simple, straightforward and only took about an hour and a half. i measured the blocks that came out, the new blocks basically raised it 3/4 of an inch. I haven't hooked up my TH to see how it sits, but have towed my jet ski's since and the "squat" is about perfect. I will get some pics together and post them.
Thanks to all (especially Spinella) for all your help!
That looks good. I think I can see the slight difference. What dimensions do you get from the ground to the top of the wheel arches, front and rear? Looks like maybe an inch higher in the rear.
Damn close. I haven't measured the wheel wells, but it raised it about 7/8 of an inch at the receiver. Naturally it still squats when I get the trailer on it, but now it doesn't look like it's bottoming out with a trailer hooked up.
Maybe now oncoming traffic will quit flashing me when I'm towing my TH at night. =)
Looks good. I have the exact same truck (except with lots of dents and scratches) and a set of ProComp 4" blocks to replace the f250 blocks on there now. Purpose is to provide more squat room for my new-to-me old truck camper.
Here's another vote for the Timbrens. I had Timbrens on my last truck and I think they're great. Easy to install, there when you need them and out of the way when you don't. An install-and-forget mod that you'll be very thankful for.
