Are you saying there are 8 wires going to the motor or the switch? Because I'm talking about the motor, which should only have 2 wires going to it.

8 wires going to the motor, only on the drivers door, all the other 3 doors have 2

I'm having the exact same problem with my 04 Navigator. Did you ever find out what the issue was?

Posting this for anyone who will have this problem in the future. The problem was the dark green wire that powers the drivers side window motor. There was corrosion in the splice (front passenger side wiring harness around the fuse box). Repaired it and that fixed the problem.
