My truck keeps throwing a code which is P0528 fan speed sensor no circuit, according to my edge insight. Now my question is, would this affect my air conditioning? Because during the summer my A/C is very *****ty. At idle it only blows out warm air and is bearly cold once you get up to speed. Ive recharged the A/C to ford spec, their isnt any leaks, and i checked the gap spacing in the A/C clutch. Im running outtta ideas.
That code is for the VSF check the wiring to the fan clutch (espcialy where it plugs in at the shroud) If all wires look good then you will probably need a new fan clutch. This is probably the reason for running a little hot (just got done reading your other post about that). As far as the A/C goes I don't see how this would effect it other than the condensor will be getting hot sitting in front of the Radiator. That could cause your problem. I would fix the p0528 code first then see what happens. Also make sure the condensor and stuff aren't pluged up with dirt and debri. That would all so cause a poor A/C performance at idle.
I have no Idea if it would be covered under the ford warrenty or not. It's not really hard to do for your first time doing it I would count on 3-4 hours!
Cheezit, im outta my 5/100. But i did purchase a extended 2 year or 200k mile warrenty from ford.
And nick your an *** hahahaha. That post was prob cause your high on all that soot your modded deisels are pushin out.. BTW did you ever get your 450 back?
