P0528

2003 6.0L 264,000 km. Ever since I've had the truck (1.5 years) it's had the code P0528 fan speed sensor circuit no signal. How do test the sensor? What's the Ohms and which wires do test?

Make sure your wires are good on the fan shroud were it plugs jn. If good probably need a new fan.

Just wondering, is your egr valve disconnected?

Nope, EGR is plugged in although it has EGR delete. I forgot to mention too that the fan works great. Sounds like a Peterbilt when that thing fires up!
