Try the simplest thing first! get under there and clean off all the mud. Then if that doesn't take care of it get the tire to a shop and balance it. Also I agree with BUCKS that it can be a tire. I also have a 09 ford Taurus with 36000 miles on it, at 15000 mile it started shuttering down the highway and when braking, shop said that the 2 front tire were bad from manufacture and they replaced them for free

Forget the regular shock's, were talking about the steering stabalizer shock. The one that lay's flat and goes from the tie rod or drag link to the frame. Is your's in good shape or is it worn out? If it's worn out, with big tires you'll have a hard time controling the truck.

i couldn't agree more. forgot about those haha. i had a set of evil 36's that loved to find cracks and when they would they'd follow 'em. well, steering stabalizer was shot and it would just about yank the wheel right outta your hands. scary ride on pavement.

She has power assist steering with a hydraulic ram, it serves the same purpose as a steering stabilizer, in fact it's a better steering damper than a steering stabilizer is.
