O-ring question

Are o-rings in an orb fitting used for a fuel supply system to be oiled before installation?

IMHO, I prefer to lube them to keep the o-ring from pinching.

Same here. I lube every o-ring prior to installation. I use white grease most of the time.

x3, I always lube orings, motor oil, diesel fuel, grease, anything to keep them from binding on the application at hand. I do not think you can contaminate any system in our rigs to a fault point no matter what you use, just need them to go in without binding, that is the important part.

I use a product from Parker called Super O-Lube. A tube of it will last most of use a lifetime!
