For those who have never heard of Silblades or are always looking for a good windshield wiper take a look at SilBlade, Lasts Years Not Months!
Best wipers I've ever used and have a 5 year warranty. I've had a set on the wifes Explorer for 5 years now and still work as well as when they were new. The set on my truck is 2 years old and still work like new, and it sits outside every day. They don't even compare to the ones like Bosch or other stuff from the parts store. Passing along some info...
I went with the standard model. If I lived in a place with lots of snow and ice I think id go with the uniblade. Also on the second set I bought I found amazon carries them. It was a lot cheaper through them and no shipping.
Hey guys,I just wanted to chime in and make sure everyone uses Rain-X windshield treatment,if not try it and you'll wonder how you ever got by without it.
Dang it !!! Just came in from putting blades on the wifes car and my 250. I'll try them next time. Should have checked the boards before working on the truck.
Thanks for the heads up Keith. I figure, with the snow and ice we have every year I spend for 2 sets of your auto parts stores blades, I could just spend the money once and get a good set and be done with it. Checking out Amazon in a bit, thanks..
I put on one Rainx latitude on the driver side to see how it would compare to my old Annco (6 months old) in the freezing rain we had a couple weeks ago. It did alright until the rubber frame froze up and then it was know better then old blade. I may have to try a set of these next time?
