upper balljoint

Is the upper ball joint easy to replace on the f350 it do they have to be pressed in by a shop!!

I replaced the ball joints upper and lower on my solid axle '94 F350 last winter. I took the knuckle to the local garage and they used a 30 ton press to pop them out and press the new ones in. I thought it was deff worth the 20 bucks.

Couple hrs if ur lucky. U could rent a ball joint press but it can still be a struggle. 20$ well spent I would say.

As mentioned, with the right tool (HD ball joint press), it is a piece of cake. Without it, it would be a major challenge.
