Now doesn't that look alot like the idi's? Its not an idi it a mv446. It is the gas engine that was used as a base for the idi. Pretty neat, and it was a heavy engine like the idi too.

It's offten said that the mv series binder motors look like idi's they have simmilar shaped valve covers and such. We have a couple of uv series ih motors on 85kw gensets at my work and they are beasts. Heres a 549
