That's not your vin, yu only have 16 digits, it should be 17. BUT i think I can figure out what you have using some common sense.
It should probably be
1FTEF14HOFPAXXXXX
1FT=Built by Ford USA as a complete truck
E=6,001-7,000 lb brake and springs
F14=F-150 4x4
H= your motor (don't have the exacts for "H")
O= a check digit, no biggie
F=model year 1985
P=assembled at twin cities
A=first run of 99,999 trucks for the year
XXXXX= consecutive unit built

Well, I can tell ya that H isn't for the 300, so for an '85 F-150 that leaves the 302 and 351 V-8. I'm sure someone can ring in and tell you how to tell the differecne between them (if that's what you're looking for). If you want to know the original motor in the truck then you need someone that knows "H".

I havent got into the truck mutch it had a tore up 3rd member and I bought it for 275.00 the body is cherry. White shortbed fleetside. There is an adapter under the carb {2 bbl } Im hoping I see 4 holes under that adapter.Thanks for all your help Justin it is appreciated.------------------------------------------------------tom
