Hello, I have a 97 Explorer that is running rich on bank 2, lean on bank 1 and misfiring on cylinders 3,4,5 and 6!

I have a SNAP-ON scanner and checked the switching of the O2 sensors and they are switching fine (~100mv-750mv).

I tried spraying fuel injector cleaner around the intake manifold gasket joints but this did not affect the O2 readings.

One bank fuel trim is at +25% and the other is at -17%. Power braking the engine brings both percentiles towards zero.

HELP!

James

Clean your MAF and look for leaks between MAF and Throttle body

Hi James I realize this is a very old thread but did you ever figure it out?? I have 01 Excursion V10 doing the same thing. Sensor numbers drop to zero off the gas and everything. Can’t figure it out.
