EVO, 2 MUCH POWER STEERING. SOLVED
HEY GUYS I WANNA THANK YOU ALL ON YOU TIPS AND EXPERIENCES.
One day driving felt real effortless, turn signal would just flash 2 or 3 times and just stay on. I was baffled for at least 2 month, red all the online forums and my 2000 Expy Service manual and figured it was the steering pump. I could not test the EVO so I left it at that. Today when I found out where the turn signal flasher was(steering column behind lower dash, where ur right knee is) replaced flasher relay and EVO came back online. I go WTF! I guess thats how dealerships make money, by confusing the crap out of the diy mechanic I was to take it in and drop what seams like a million dollars to fix the Electronic Variable Orifice (EVO) Power Steering.
It pays to read all posts/books/wiki-answers etc etc and then fix it yourself
