Fortin evo all on eBay for 110 bucks, pre programmed , it come yesterday . I installed it in 20 minutes start to finish, uses factor 80bit key. I still can't
Get over the price they wanted for a 20 minute job, 2 plugs on the steering column and 2 wires on the diagnostic port , yes you need 2 factory keys but they take about a minute to program .

 

Take a victory anytime you can!

 

Would i be able to do this if i dont have keyless entry?

 

I believe they have a remote option thats good for 1500ft . Not sure how that one would get programed believe you need power locks so you would need to splice 2 wires into that also . Which they show which ones

 

Sounds like they may be using the Can Buss line. Being a foreign module on the truck and added to the Buss line, you may try to start the truck after sitting for a few days and have dead batteries.
IF you have that problem, there may be no fix with that module on the DLC

 

All I did on my 150 when I had it was get the Ford remote start kit from ebay for like $150 and installed it in about 5 minutes, then paid the local dealer about $30 to turn it on in the PCM.

 

I still don't see the sense in this remote start stuff. Must be an east coast thing.

 

I absolutely love the remote start on my pickup.. I live on the west coast.. I prefer a warm pickup when I get into it.. It was really hand when it was snowing outside.. walk down the stairs in the morning and remote start the pickup, and then let it idle for 10 - 15 minutes, walk out and brush some snow off and drive away in a warm pickup..

 

Yep don't like getting up extra early or get the surprise snow and need to clean ,and be late. If it's under 40 degrees I just start truck early. This is my third truck with remote start, just didn't buy this one when I got the truck.
