Anybody install this on a 2010 F150 Lariat. They have them at sonic electronics for about $120. There is a video online for a 2011 F150 I just want to make sure it's the same. Thanks for the help. By the way had a 2005 on F150 sold it got a Nissan Maxima now back in the 2010 F150.

Is your truck a 2010 lariat? Also there is a seven minute video on YouTube, is that what you used for installation. Are the wires all the same as in the video ?
Well I could not pass this up; I bought one. I've watched the youtube video several times on how to install it. Seems fairly easy. I bought this one because it comes pre-flashed. Beware some suppliers on amazon sell unflashed units that require the purchase of the flash-kit.

Since it says,"2011-2014" I would say this is not an option for you. It seems the can bus architecture was different in '09-'10 for some reason.
I installed the Evo back in October in my company owned 2014 F-150 XLT. Works great but distance is limited to the factory remote lock/unlock function.
I just finished the install; it took about an hour, but I took my time; my WiFi did not reach my driveway so I had to go back inside and watch the video a few times. The Evo-Fort1 works great and the install is a snap. The hardest thing is removing and reinstalling the trim pieces; but really no big deal.

Look at the questions section on amazon and reviews, I believe people are using this with the 09-10 trucks as well. Mines a 2012, installation is exactly as described in the YouTube video.

I bought one of these kits last week, and then cancelled the order two hours later. I started reading a bunch of threads where people had trouble getting the unit to work, or they got remote start to work and then key start wouldn't work, or it all worked fine for a few months then quit working, etc. And I remember trying to install one of these EVO kits on a 2014 Dodge and none of it working and it almost bricked my ECU.
So I cancelled the order and bought the Ford OE kit.
I'll report back if I have any trouble; the threads where people could not get it to work, likely did not buy a pre-flashed unit. Not all internet retailers take the time to flash the units.
Well apparently I jinxed myself. I installed the Ford OE kit yesterday and everything seemed fine and this morning my truck wouldn't start. Lights, windows, locks all worked...no start. So apparently I have to tow my truck to the dealership and pay them $105 to tell me what's wrong.
Wish I had kept my order for the Fortin EVO kit now!!!!!!!! Lol.

Bummer; it's likely something simple. That's a drag though. I hope they button this up quickly for you. Sounds like the immobilizer... perhaps.
