Did anyone take the rebates and pass on the lower rates or get the rebate and rates as low as 0%? Picking up the new truck tomorrow and trying to figure what is best.
As it was explained to me at taking the 0% would actually cost me 800-900 with the loss of the 2500 in rebate. I took 3 year at 3.24% on X plan with 2500 + 1000 + 750 in rebates. I can handle the high payment for the 3 years. that will get it paid off before I retire.
Ended up going with the 0% for 36 months(2k in rebates plus $750.00 Ford coupon)since I bought this as a company vehicle. Savings overall and tax wise it works out better for me. If I took the rebates Ford Credit was at 7.9% for 60 months(almost 6k in interest!) or Bank of America 3.99% at 60 months with $2500 in rebates plus the coupon. All in all a good experience with the dealer.

Hey Andy,
When I bought mine, Ford rates were 2.9 over 48 mos or something. I ended up with Citizens bank with a lower rate over 60 months...
What dealer are you buying from?
