I got a call from my dealer on Saturday. I had left the order with him back in March and told him to put in the order so that it would be ready for the end of July. He was going to call me when he was going to place the order. When I received the call on Saturday, he informed me that the truck would be in within a few days.

My lease on the Dodge Ram 2500 is not due until July. My wife is calling the dealer today to have him hold off the delivery until the weekend of June 11th. I was hoping to return the other truck before this one actually came in but I guess that is not going to be the case. While I am looking forward to getting the new truck, I would have liked a little more leadtime since I have to pick up my Ferrari out of the shop a week or two earlier.

Like a few others in this thread, I ordered a Bronze with the Adobe two-tone. I ordered the King Ranch F350 (crew cab with LB) with most of the options except the 5th wheel.

The dealer did say that they needed to order the truck because of the paint issues and another issue of not being able to get Navigations from Sony. That is what the dealer told me but I have a feeling that he was looking to make a quota so he just put the order in. Either case, I will soon become another member of the elite group of Ford SD owners.

I would have the dealer make your last 2 payments on the other truck. He is the one that ordered it early.
