Hi all. I am new here and have had a lot of good luck finding answers to my problems with my 1999 Ford F250 SD with V10 gas engine. I have two problems that i have not had any luck in finding answers for. So here they are:
1) Sometimes when I go to start the truck and turn the key over, nothing. The battery is good, no blown fuses or anything like that. I have played with the gear shifter and brakes to try and get it to start, but nothing seems to help. I have to get out and start it by jumping the solenoid with the key on. Once it is started, I can turn it off and then restart it normally. This doesn't happen every time and it is not particular to rain, sun, day or night.
2) If I turn on my cruise control on my truck, I don't even get a dummy light saying it is on. I did the CC test listed in other posts, but like I said, no dummy lights or cruise control. Fuses are good, but I'm just not sure if it is even getting power or not. Is there a relay I can check?
