The 1976 can has a stylized car on it. What does the Tar/Road oil can look like, there were three different versions.
Here's a picture of the two containers. Look at the date on them what significance does this play.

The Tar & Oil Remover can was originally (1957) white and was marked FORD in red block letters. The next version (1962) was the same, but marked Rotunda in red.
The part number remained the same. The running car style design was introduced in 1969 (the labels on parts cartons also matched) and are not that hard to find, because Ford was still using this design in the 1990's.
Swing on by Jack Gosch, I wouldn't be surprised if they have some of these two examples, and the 25 or so other types of fluids/chemicals/waxes/polishes & wax treated dust cloths Ford offered.
Future Ford would be another place to look, as I bought a coupla hundred 3 ounce cans of 1960's touch-up paint there about 20 years ago. They might even have some Rotunda marked cans.

I think my dad had some of that, but his was in a big red can marked "Gasoline"
