1993 300 ENGINE MISFIRE PROBLEM
i have a 1993 f150 xl reg cab 8foot bed with 197,000 5 speed. since january my truck would run good one day, bad the next. i notice this throughout all the gears by the way. what happens is at a certain point of the position of the pedal on the floor, the truck starts to misfire and run really rough, but not stall out. i have to push the throttle down to almost 3/4 in order for it to stop doing that, but it takes it about 2 seconds to realize that i pushed the throttle down. then it instantly gives it gas. Ive replaced the fuel filter and also the air filter, but still the same thing. all original parts.....
If anyone knows what is wrong, any advice would do. Thanks!
