throttle sticking, no acceleration?
94 5.0 automatic.
about a month ago i noticed the truck would not accelerate at certain times. it happens when i take my foot completely off the gas. ill press the throttle down and get no response. if i take my foot off the gas completely after this, then step on it, it will then react. its like i have to pump the gas pedal... this is intermittant and happens about 20% of the time. i cleaned out the throttle body and IAC. i dont see any vac leaks and i have no codes being pulled by my scanner.
any ideas?

The title of the thread suggests that the throttle is sticking and if so I'd suggest you inspect the cable and linkage for smooth operation. If you got an all clear 11 or 111 with the code reader then it's not likely the TPS is at issue so the problem is probably mechanical.
