01 excursion door ajar light

01 excursion door ajar light
01 7.3L keeps having the door ajar light on. I think it is one of the back doors but not sure what trip the sensor to tell the computer It is closed. I didn't see any buttons that get depressed for it. Anyone know how they work? Thank you.

They're in the latch. Get some WD-40 and spray the heck out of it.
I'm thinking doing a mod of these POS switches. I bought 5 door switches off of a Toyota from the salvage yard. These are covered with a rubber boot. Funny thing is there is only one wire for Toyota, but Ford has 2.

Latch is where they clip over the metal loops to secure when closed correct. I'll do that, living in Vermont things rust quickly. Thank you for the fast response jh818.
