Yea friend of mine told me the water would pool up in the intake and the washer fluid would evaporate and not do any harm due to the mix of alcohol..
My system is set to come on at 7PSI of boost and turn off under 7PSI. There is also a solenoid valve, to prevent any water siphoning. There's no way for water to "Pool" in my intake.
If you do run washer fluid, don't running any that is not the blue color. There are gains to be had with these systems in certain setups and/or situations, but for right now Josh that money would be better spent on a van turbo, or saved up for other mods IMO.

My friend clay has two of my van turbos and WW as we talk on here just waiting on him to get them done so i can get my F6 to. I was just looking on his site and ran across this system and was interrested in if it does help fuel MPG.
Clay and I have both run the water meth systems, and I still am with nitrous on the 2nd stage.
You probably wont gain much in mpg with it, you might gain some towing heavier loads, but it would take a long time to gain what you would spend on the system.
You could get the same reduction in egt's, all the time, for less money, with a van turbo and 6.0 cooler.
I run the system to help keep the pistons cool to keep from burning a hole in them, it helps alot considering I have spent a good bit of time above 2000 degrees egt.
One of the biggest things that is hurting you right now is still having stock split shot inj.

Yea i just sold three sets of injectors after the fact i was told i could have sent two sets of the to swamps and gave them a set and they would have built me a set for nothing thats my falt but i got enuff money out of them for the two van turbos and got a 6.0 ic comming later just waiting on it to. i would like to have another 6.0 ic for a friend of mine thats getting the other turbo..
Keep your eye out on craigslist for them, i've seen a few floating around out there before, sometimes Knox auto has some good finds laying around too i've found before too.
Nope not too far at all, I'd be glad to anytime man if I'm not working. You aren't far from several people here on FTE.
I've usually got something I'm tinkering on, I've got this 4 link air ride i'm building right now, and the motor i've got to put together that i'm swapping out in mine at the end of this month

Thats what else i would like to have is the full air ride rear iv seen a set up on a lot of chevy ambulances 4x4 and on the web. The one i seen was about $2500 for the hole set up compresser and all.You completely remove the rear springs and they ride very very nice and look cool to..
What do you do in freezing temps? I'm guessing adding alcohol will keep the mix from freezing? Thanks for the info & link. Interested in this also as I tow a 5er wheel quite a bit.
When it gets closer to freezing temps, I run straight washer fluid through about 2 tanks worth, then I dont hardly use it again until it warms up, then I run straight water the rest of the year. I'm not a very big fan of running methanol, just water only, there isn't much to be gained running alot of it and it can be harmful to your engine.
The water is what cools, and thus to some extent power is gained through lower intake temps.
The methanol is an added fuel, and since it cannot be precisely controlled as to when, and how much enters the cylinder, it can created very high cylinder pressures under certain situations, especially when at high egt's it can cause unwanted detonation.
If it gets your cylinder pressures too high, you run a very big risk of popping a headgasket....trust me I know from experience.
