Just bought a 2003 Navigator. The Navteq DVD was not in the drive. I looked around and there are allot of used versions online. Question I have not been able to find a compatability list as to what version will work with an 03. Anyone have this information?

 

On the Navteq web site it says there was two different Nav systems available for the Navigator in 03 (a CD version and a DVD version)

Go to This page of their site, and use the "Find your map" menu.
You can see the different versions that are specified for your year.

What I am wondering is there a full list of what versions the 03 Navagator supports? With earlier versions listed as well.

I don't understand your question.

I believe that and 4V are format codes. The actual vintage of the set of disks is (I think) by calendar date.

If you are sure that you have an format (DVD) nav. unit, I think you should be able to buy any disk set that is format. Then you just need to determine whether it is a new enough interested I purchasing it.

If you pay Navteq $199 you will get the most current, up to date map info, but the disks will still say on them.

 

I have the 2003 Navigator and just updated my Nav system. The 2003 uses the Visteon CD Navigation system with CD map discs by Navteq. I live on the east coast and intend on selling my other discs on ebay. Shoot me a message if you are interested. I have the newest version and the original version as well.
