In dash navigation and Updates
I recently purchased 2003 EB with the in dash Navigation. I would like to get updated navigation software for it as I will be taking a trip out east next month.
The current CD's that i have are all 2003 version. I saw on ebay that someone had a Navteq navigation dvd map 8p for ford, lincoln, merury.
Can I just purchase this DVD and put it and have it work?

Updates
I just called the dealer. They gave me an number to call (877-628-6271).
I called them and they stated that the updates that I can get are only valid from 03-06 model years. In 07 they went to a DVD system.
I will have to find update disks (all 12 of them) on ebay. The last update for that was in 07. To buy from the manufacturer (and at an update that is already three years old) I would have to shell out $200.
I guess a TOMTOM is in the works as they are less than that!
