still waiting to find out about it (my dad is the one thats gonna be looking at it and doing the transaction, im a little ways away from home right now...)and the lady that has it can only show it on saturdays due to her schedule, but the last i heard its still there. but me and my buddy are already talking about a little road trip when I get home!

Once read an article in a car magazine circa 1985 or so where Ford was using a Maverick with a 429 CI engine to test brake packages. How'd that suit ya---cool concept but I'll bet the engine weighed nearly as much as the bare chassis and body.

The 1970 maverick with a 200 6 cylinder engine came with 9 inch brakes and 4 lug wheels all the 5 lug wheel cars had 10 inch brakes with front disc available after 72.
