I really like these WeatherTech rubber floor mats. The fronts fit perfect. The rears are more of a generic fit. I had to trim off a few inches on the rear mats. They have blocks in the tread pattern that are made to be trimmed off if you need to shorten the mats.
Killer, I got the one for the rear cargo area of my van. It has a 3-4" lip that holds a ton of water and sand. Keeps carpet perfect and the fit is very good.
No, I've got an e-150 chateau. 7 passenger, quad buckets and 3 seat bench. the weathertech covers the entire cargo area, moulded to sides, rear door and even is moulded to the seat brackets. Look on-line, there really great due to the 3-4" lip around the entire mat. Weight is 2 lbs, pull out and hose off, really protects the back area.
Ya know Killer the WeahterTech's are wonderful mats----I almost spent the money for them myself! Since I have just a cargo/work van I opted instead for a less expensive but "tray-like" liner---like $65 shipped for just the front pair.
It's illegal most everywhere. I've had tinted windows for 15 years. Never had a problem.
Knock on wood.
This is very true-----do believe there is a law on the books about it here in Ohio. By law the percentage of "darkness" is mandated and location dependent too--front driver/passenger doors one level, NONE on the windshield below a certain level but anything behind the driver doesn't carry many restrictions.
I've seen more than a few deputy sheriff's personal or undercover cars with tinting darker than the thug's cars----they tell me if pulled over they pay the ticket but keep the tinting.
Probably most jurisdictions don't actively enforce this though-----they'd be busy all day writing tickets for just this one thing!
@ Killer RC- I was gonna buy they same weather techs setup for the identical van you have but they do not come up over the hump where the driver rests their left foot! Thats what gets the dirtiest!
Same here i got all packeg front rear and cargo mats, also window deflectors are nice they not on 3m tape its like more european style they goes in to the window seal and they looks great, and hood deflector works great for me i own whole packeg over 2 years in my chateau no problems and cargo mat its more stiffer then rubber floor mats more like plastic feel all works great for me
Regarding window tint, I had my Dr. write me a note for mine. Bright light gives me headaches- had no problem when I discussed it with the ADA before court who dropped the ticket "in the interest of justice."
I've been looking for mats for my 2001 E 150 so I'll take a look at these. Thanks for the share...
I don't think the State Patrol minds people tinting them that dark in Ohio, since it gives them a legal reason to pull you over late at night. Had it happen to me once at 2:00 AM. I imagine they were figuring that anyone out at 2:00 is a potential DUI case, but they need a reason to pull you over. They suggested that I to take the vehicle to a local patrol post to have it tested with their meter. Since there was nothing in writing, I forgot about doing that. Haven't had a problem since, but you have to keep in mind that they can legally pull you over for the tinted windows alone.
