Mirror connector schematic

Am in the process of upgrading my 2000 F250 to 2012 mirrors (told they was that year model?). Before I start the wiring process this weekend I was just trying to get a grasp of where each wire was going to go. Does anyone have a schematic for this plug show what each wire is for?

The plug/connector:

Hoping to find an image like this of the connector:

Hi this is kinda old, however, how would we source unused, new male pin connectors? I have a flat mirror connector and I have Radio Shack 2761429 Sub-D male that are to small of a diameter. Thanks for information we all can use, Artie

I believe the connectors are ford proprietary and can only be obtained from them? I just used the connector to identify each wire and then just discarded it. I went the cut and soldered route with installation.

I have been looking elsewhere online, as well in my harvested connectors. I can't find any identification on the connectors. The male end diameter is .062. I would have guessed Pico or Amp. Still looking. ......

1MrBrian1...I'm interested in more details. I have the same project, 2000 F350 installing 2011 mirrors. No power fold nor power extend, I hope that makes it easier! Can you provide more details please!

Not sure exactly what you're asking but I'm assuming you're installing mirrors w/o the power fold and extend option? If that's the case then you'd just have to cut the connectors off your 2000, match them up to the new mirrors (adjustments), and then run additional wiring so you can use the defrost, running light, turn signal options. The defrost you'll just need to find a power source and the lights/signal just tap into existing truck wiring of the power.
