What is this?
I was under my truck today and saw this. What is it? See the "What is it" arrow in the photo. It is on the rear axle.

That is the Vehicle Speed Sensor. It feeds the anti-lock brakes and gives a speed signal to the transmission and the speedometer.

That's what you check/replace if your speedometer is screwed up, or your ABS light remains on, or your cruise control doesn't work right.
